“La Pergola is a relatively new property on offer and we were among the first to live here. Domenico and his really nice family have created a great property for holiday guests here, which at least for us left nothing to be desired. The outdoor kitchen and the outdoor bathroom near the pool are the absolute luxury. Six of us lived there at times, we all had enough space in the house and, above all, on the lovingly designed and well-tended property. La Pergola is located a little outside of San Michele Salentino, which was ideal for us, as we are big city dwellers and were able to relax in the hammock in this heavenly tranquility. If you like to live in a residential area and want to reach everything in 5 minutes on foot, you are wrong here. A car is essential. San Michele Sanlentino is not exactly a hotspot, but you can get everything for your daily needs. The people we met were incredibly friendly. There are several restaurants and bars (the Osteria Tranquilla is highly recommended for the more sophisticated taste, make a reservation). La Pergola is really conveniently located, so that you can easily start excursions anywhere in this beautiful region from here. Thanks to Giuseppe, the “translator” of the Domenico family. He speaks good English, so communication went really well. German is not spoken here and that is a good thing. As if that wasn’t enough in terms of hospitality, we were also treated to culinary delicacies of all kinds from Domenico and his family. Thank you for a great vacation. See you next year. ”

Domenico and family are very nice and courteous people, the house is very clean and well-kept – everything was great! He came daily to clean the pool and to see if everything was okay. – Super Service. We will certainly pass this on to our friends and acquaintances ”
