Trullo Saettone is highly recommended

There is an excellent offer here. From the handover of the keys at Puglia Tours to the warm farewell by the staff there, we had a wonderful 14 days. The trullo is very well and tastefully decorated (except for a sofa bed in the living room, on which you can neither sit nor lie down properly). The owner was very concerned about our well-being and often asked if everything was ok. If it wasn’t that far away, you could go there more often!

Our 2nd home

We are coming to this accommodation for the third time. That’s explaining everything. Already the first time it was arriving and feeling good. Our little daughter also feels very comfortable in „our trulli house“. The house and the equipment are just excellent. And if something is missing, the owner will get it right away. The connection to the great place Cisternino is very good and the beautiful beaches are easy to reach. Everything’s fine for us, see you next time … Thanks also to the Mediterraneo Case team for always great handling. Our thanks also go to the local agency!

Fantastic vacation in perfect surroundings

The Trullo Saettone is about 3 km away and 90 meters in altitude (interesting for cyclists) below the old town of Cisternino in a beautifully preserved and well-tended olive grove. The trullo has been tastefully renovated and equipped with beautiful, professionally made furniture (except for the couch). Nothing is missing. On the natural stone terrace under olive trees and oaks, surrounded by rosemary bushes, you can enjoy the excellent Mediterranean atmosphere. The welcome was very friendly, wine, fruit, vegetables and lots of mineral water were ready for us in the apartment. You should remember the approach, because the navigation systems believe you know roads through which you can at best ride a donkey but can never drive a car. You have to find the roundabout at the theater (eastern outskirts) and do not turn towards Ostuni but first past the theater. In the new building quarter then turn half right and then turn half right again into a cul-de-sac at the end of which you will be standing in front of the trullo.

„The trullo and the property are really gorgeous! We were very satisfied.
There are only two things that didn’t work out, but that didn’t really matter in the end. We asked for a high chair and found a really lovingly prepared cot. We received the chair a few days later on request. If we come again, it would be great if it worked right away this time.
Then the shopping list didn’t work either. But we were there so early that we could still buy everything ourselves.
But that leads to a suggestion. The trullo is very remote and we hardly found it again after our evening shopping in the dark. We made the mistake of entering the coordinates of the trullo into the navigation device directly on the property. But now there are so many paths all around that you have no access to the property and we were all sent through the navigation device, just not the right one. So it makes sense to enter the coordinates a bit outside and to remember the rest of the route. As a small suggestion to give this information on arrival.

We would be very happy if we could enjoy wonderful days at Trullo Saettone again.

„We felt very comfortable in the Trullo Saettone. Very nice location and surroundings, if you want to have some peace and quiet. Everything there what you need for self-sufficiency. Only on a few days did an unpleasant smell develop in the bathroom that could not be clearly identified.
But we would still like to come back, everything else was just right.
And a way to hang a mosquito net would be great.

„But we don’t want to fail to give you feedback on the trullo in Cisternino, because – to get to the point: we were and are absolutely thrilled!

The beautiful trullo has been lovingly renovated and expanded very tastefully. It is picturesquely and secluded on a huge property in an olive grove on a mountain slope. The garden is beautifully laid out and planted and can be illuminated at night with various lights and spots. If you like it rural, quiet, a little lonely and romantic, this is the right place for you. The beautiful, historic center of Cisternino with restaurants and cafés is about 2 kilometers away. The on-site service on arrival and departure worked smoothly. We can only warmly recommend this trullo!

The only small improvement suggestion for the landlord: If there were still 2 comfortable sun loungers / sun beds, the stay in the garden would be even more relaxing. (There are currently only 2 moderately comfortable folding deck chairs.)
